Beginning with a typical neck that you might get from ebay, a telecaster headstock often exists within most six-in-line headstocks. The hard part is the transition on the reverse side. My appologies to the hard working and honest men and women at SX in Nebraska or where ever you are. I did not want the SX logo on this guitar -- nothing personal. When sanding off headstock logos, you want to go slow with something like a wet 320 grit sandpaper and a good flat sanding block. Only sand back until the logo is gone and try to preserve the factory wood sealer under the image as much as you can. You need to do the entire face of the headstock or you'll get a depression. In the bottom photo, there is one coat of wipe-on satin polyurethane and I'm going to do the entire neck neck with this over most of the existing finish that has been prepped with 320 grit.
