Double neck. Madolin on top and octive mandolin or bouzouki on the bottom -- both (paired) eight-string instruments. I am super pleased at the body contours being very similar to what Gibson did. I was a lot of luck. Its a way-cool instrument to play and it'll probable be played at the Trenton Greek festival for years to come. An instrument like this is really only intended for live stage performances. Double necks are cumbersome. But this one is fun and needs to be played in front of an audience. The use of a mahogany body with a mahogany set neck is a recipe that yields that Gibson sustain and it happened in this project also.
