Simple Green is great stuff! Also great for de-staining my coffee roaster.

Update!!!
Warmoth says UPS is on it's way with my Showcase body! :)
Blue dye over flame maple.
I was looking for 3 things:
Forearm contour, rear routed control panel (you gotta show off all the grain!), and a dyed finish that wasnât necessarily a burst.
Since itâs a chambered body it should weigh nearly nothing! I only exceeded my budget by $21...almost bought a blue with quilt maple but it had the standard Tele control plate...

Will stick my MIJ '62 Reissue neck on it for now, and then get a Warmoth neck early next year. Probably: Maple with dark rosewood and MOP dots, black headstock (maybe?) and vintage tint.

Long wait from Washington state to the East Coast! ETA Nov. 28th! AhhhhHHHHH!H!!! :)

Nice. Knobs with abalone top inlays?

Like these from Stewmac:

(Which I see can't be shipped out of the USA. I'm all for saving the planet but sometimes I think things have gone flippin' daft.)

"Maple/maple neck right???"

Nope. Rosewood...kinda like this FMT HH but with chrome hardware and no neck pickup.

I like the '62 reissue with the rosewood, so I'm using that as inspiration. I have a '52 reissue already, so I got the maple thing covered.

Oh c'mon.

A red MOTO pickguard would not make the guitar look better, but it certainly would match your personality!

{Dom Irrera voice] "I don't mean that in a *bad* way..."

mroulier, that one should turn out wonderful.

Maybe I should show Queenie ... She might say, "Honey you don't have a blue guitar".

Sadly, I'm not counting on it ;)

Looks great. I'll be watching to see how it turns out.
