I really enjoy my cray. What is Fender going to do with future production? I've read that MIM guitars won't have rosewood fret boards. Will they change or phase out the model? Either way, it would make the existing models more desired, IMO.

I have a Robert Cray neck on the homebrew Strat I built several years ago. One of the most comfortable Strat necks I've ever played.

I think I like it even more than the one on my Jimmie Vaughan Strat. And I like that one a lot. (;^D)

Tony F, if I hadn't recently purchased an American Standard hardtail I'd very temped to buy your RC. Best of luck with the sale.

I didn't know Fender offered a AS hardtail. How did you find out?

^ On an internet forum, probably this one. Mine's a 97. I know they made them in the mid to late 90s and maybe into the early 2000's. They're not very common.
