Pombio.. the 15 watt PRRI is certainly loud. I also do not play above 3 at home and that's loud. Jim Campilongo plays gigs with this amp which doesn't appear to be mic'd.. Kenny Vaughn plays a silver face PR, which is 12 watts , mid'd on the Marty Stuart show and he sounds phenomenal .

One of the best tones I've had at home was an Explorer into my cranked '72 PR. It was pretty loud but glorious.<br /> <br /> Last night I watched Austin City Limits with Valerie June. Her axeman was Binky Griptite. He was playing a LP Custom into a PR (miked). Great sound and sustain. So you can use one on any stage if miked.<br /> <br /> Binky Griptite, what a fake name. If he wasn't so well-known I'd use that for my new fake name. I'm getting tired of "Ben Dover".
