Anyone try the JDX Direct Drive yet? I love using my tube amps, but the JDX DD unit might make me think twice for smaller gigs and such. Place it after your pedal board, then run it into the PA mixer.

Sounds really good to me. Not a bad "back up amp" to throw in your gig bag. I was using a Joyo American pedal and a Whirlwind DI box as my back up amp. Not any more. Very cool box!

Looks like a great device to have and well-thought out. Even if one uses an amplifier, this could be a real life-saver should your amp suddenly decide to take the night off.

Exactly Mike! It takes something pretty special for me to make a video. Really dig the JDX Drive. I've got 4 pedals from Radial. Not a clunker in the bunch.

Radial makes some very high-quality stuff that's well regarded.

Good speaker simulators are becoming more important not only for recording at home, but also for live use and especially silent stage set ups.

I used to use two Hughes and Kettner Red Box 4X12 speaker cab simulators with my stereo guitar rack at gigs back in the 1980's and 1990's. Such devices work great for getting sound into the PA without mic headaches.
