$20.00 at the flea market. No cracks. Dings and scratches, rusty tuners, new strings. Sounds great, straight neck, looks like maybe a headstock repair, but it’s stable and nearly clean. The action is a little high. Can’t find a serial number.

I’ll put it on the bench for a good cleaning, take the tuners off and service them,, clean them up, a dab of oil, check out the repair, lower the saddle a little. Cool little camp guitar. It really has a great tone. I’m only going to slightly lower the action, I don’t want the tone to change too much.

I got the guys phone number. He told me he has hundreds of old guitars, electrics from the 50s and 60s, even has a Framus, I asked “o) he wants to get rid of all of them. I’ll go over to his place after the holidays and see what he has, he is certainly motivated to get rid of them. He knows guitars and what they’re worth, Silvertone, Harmony, and all the 60s funky stuff. He has parts too.

I really didn’t need to meet this guy. Still I may find somthing cool like Dolomites 12 string electric Dano.

VERY cool!

My first guitar was a Yamaha G50 classical. Mahogany body and neck with a spruce top. Pretty sure my brother still has it.

That dude sounds dangerous. Don't spend all your money on memories :o)

He’s open to trades. He mention about the possible headstock repair on this guitar, I told him about a few I did, and he brought up the trade thing.

I’m thinking it would be cool to have a couple nostalgic instruments. Use some of the old parts to build new retro type projects. Especially if all it costs me is some wrench time.

I gave this guitar to my nephew. Both of my sisters accuse me of influencing their sons to play, Jake just joined the Miami Fire Department. He’s a good player, wrote a great tune and produced it for his sister’s wedding video.

I gave Nick my Rogue VB-100 last year, both have been playing since pre-teens, Both are nearing 30 now.
