I picked up a Fender Blues Deville that had been customized with a new baffle to replace the 4x10 baffle and to install a 1x15 Eminence Legend 1518 speaker (15 inch guitar speaker, 8 Ohms, 150 Watts). I had offered a nearly new Blues Jr with dust cover and footswitch with $100 added and he declined. He made a counter offer of $350 cash and I countered that. It ended up that I gave $325 and the seller drove halfway from Tulsa to meet me.

Sadly, I do not have a guitar in the house, (remember, I play bass and do sound rental and backline rental) so I will take it to work on Wednesday so we can try it out together.

My lovely bride was not pleased that I spent that much on a "guitar" amp and used up my Christmas savings. That is why there are credit cards. Right?

Sounds like a cool amp, not a bad price either. I'm not much of a credit card shopper, you lost me there.

Enjoy that 15"

Hi Tony!

Sounds like you stole that amp at $325 ;-)
Those 60 watts must sound HUGE through a 15"-speaker!

cheers - C.
I performed with someone else's BD 1x15 many moons ago. I was impressed at the great clean tones.
