Live! From God's Waiting Room ....

It's small. It's surprisingly loud. It runs on 6AA batteries - I use rechargeable. It has more gain than I'll ever need but the clean channel sounds great with my Carvin jumbo acoustic with a Fishman piezo under saddle pickup. My Strat sounds like a Strat and my Tele sounds angry through it with nice twang.

I couldn't decide between this or the Katana mini but got this for 15% off with an early bird Black Friday sale.

If you are in the market for a battery powered mini amp this is a good choice. And did I mention this little guy, running on freshly charged AA's is LOUD? No regrets - glad I got it.

Amazing little amp. I've been using mine a lot more than the classic style toob amps in my collection because it sounds good and is so convenient. I thought when I got it I'd hardly use except for trips.

The Fly, plus the ext. cab Fly 103, plus the power supply for $99 looks like the best deal (the power supply sold separately is $20).

Tempting...

It sounds *awesome* in the john.

(I'd put a smiley face except it actually does sound awesome. Put it on the floor of the shower and hit the OD button. Wow!)

PS: Yes, the stereo setup is the way to go. It's $85 right now with the coupon they have been e-mailing everyone. I have a cable from headphone out on my phone into the Fly. Then use Pandora mostly to jam along with. And it's not a 'toy' amp.

A brand spanking new Blackstar Fly 3 with Stereo Pack has come home to Poppa! Gene, I'm blaming you for this :^)

This is a gift for my youngest son. He's had my Peavey Classic 30 beast and really can't let it breath in his apartment. This will be excellent for him.

I don't really need any more GAS, guys, but glad it's working out so well for you!

(rather than checking specs, unwisely heading to Youtube to check videos)
It’ll go nicely with that new guitar you don’t need.

The Fly with the Stereo cab is EXCELLLLLLENT! I was too impatient to wait any longer.....gave my son his 24-year Birthday present two days early. He plugged the Danelectro DC3 guitar in, and went to town on it! Great sounds, clean or overdriven, with or without some delay rolled in. I dutifully gave it a try as well.

Now, of course, I want one for me.

Okay, so, yes.....now I have one as well. I broke it in using Fender Stratocaster, which then led me to pull out the Telecaster as well. Oh yayusss!

Think about how many times a day you plug in. I have a nice Mustang III with the 4 button floor pedal. It sits in a spare bedroom and maybe once a week I'd plug in. The Fly 3 sits mostly on or next to my sofa with a light, cheap cable plugged in. I find myself plugging into it at least once a day. And I sometimes plug my phone into it and either play along to Pandora or backing tracks. Or I play along to the TV creating 'sound tracks'. The point being with my Mustang it takes forethought and as a result I don't use it much anymore.
I'm setting mine up on a cabinet in my bedroom....out of range of the teething lab puppies.
