A 2014 Martin D28 with a Fishman Loudbox Artist and Baggs PU for $1500. If this was local I'd be on my way with cash in hand.

I won't ship either, not worth the hassle. All my sales have been local CL. It does help being in a major metro area.

I do hope that you find that killer Martin you've been longing for.

The older the violin

the sweeter the music.

Where is it located?

If it's near me I'll grab it and ship it to you.

Of course, I'd play it for a few days first!

I'm surprised someone hasn't grabbed it. The Rockford, IL market must be small.

Ragtop, thanks for the offer.

You're old. Then vintage. Then good!

Rockford's right outside the Chicago metro area; should be plenty of opportunity to sell it locally.

Edit: Isn't Rockford the old hometown of REO Speedwagon?

Assuming that the amp is included that is a great deal. The guitar looks to be in almost brand new condition.

Yeah, I really wish this one was within driving distance. The guitar would be a good deal just by itself. The amp is a nice bonus.

I've visited a couple here in SoCal, older guitars and after a good look-over most need a neck reset due to high action. I pointed out a pickguard crack to a seller last weekend, he actually had not noticed it. If I could find a deal like CG got I'd buy a fixer-upper.

I'd buy a guitar with a neck reset but most likely not a guitar with a crack repair.

After 30 years, I should play better.

Rockford is Cheap Trick country.

Champaign Urbana is REO.

And lest we forget Peoria's favorite sons, Head East.

Crap, I probably could have used that brain space for something better.

Well, you cleared it out now! Memory dump, format "C". Ha!

Head East was very popular in Cleveland. They played our better clubs regularly. They had a hit, "Never Been Any Reason"?

This one got a lot of air time.

Thanks for correcting me, Prof - I wasn't sure, but I knew they were from Illinois. Didn't know Cheap Trick hailed from there as well! Or Head East (one of the LOUDEST bands I EVER heard in concert!).
