I Dare To Be Different

I finally shipped right-handed MIM Strat to my nephew, Bobby, a music therapist in Florida. He's the only that's played it since 2004, as I had originally kept here so he have something to play whenever he visited. However, he's brought a classical guitar with him on his last three visits. The Strat will definitely get more use over in Florida.

I received the Strat on Christmas Day, 1996. It was my first electric and the first guitar that I had since 1965. I tried to play right-handed with it, but that didn't work out. In 1997, I had Fender's Custom Shop 54 pups installed and then had it set up to play left-handed ala Hendrix (new nut, etc). It was returned to its original orientation after I acquired my left-handed AmSe Strat in 2004.

BTW, that's the third guitar that I've given Bobby.
