Just curious; wasn't it Jason Aldean that had something crazy happen at one of his last concerts also?

K4, very sorry to hear this.

The president of the company I work for was at the show with her three adult daughters. It was supposed to be a nice get-away weekend. They attend every year. Fortunately all four were uninjured however it was close. People in the row in front of her kids were shot.

I had just finished a gig at a sports bar at midnight yesterday when the they turned the TVs back on and the sound up. The breaking news came on about the shooting in Vegas. I texted my coworker and found out they were all ok. I didn't sleep much last night. This was very close to home.

I'm sorry your son in law was involved in this but I'm grateful that he wasn't hurt. I hope this doesn't scar him too deeply.

I don't know anything else to say but prayers for those who were there and and their families.

Why do I keep fixing things that work?
Oct 2nd, 2017 09:55 AM

I can't imagine how overwhelming this has to be for everyone whom attended the venue, but it truly causes me to be outraged by this senseless act of violence and the insanity that all of those people had to endure from this depraved madman.
I know my words can't describe how much these people are trying to comprehend right now, but I pray they can find peace and not lose faith in the rest of humanity and find solace in God and their families!
It's just NOT RIGHT and that selfish SOB has taken the lives of so many innocents! FOR WHAT?
I pray for their healing, in God's name. Amen!

It's hard to comprehend how one can run with such a bad thought from conception to planning to execution. If that isn't the definition of evil, even if you don't believe in such things, then nothing is.

My wife's co-workers parents were at the hotel and she just made brief contact with them. It sounds like anyone in the hotel was whisked away for debriefing before being allowed outside contact.

People like that guy are the worst of the worst. Intelligent enough to format a plan and carry it out, defective enough to make it a horrific plan instead of something that could benefit people, and then intelligent and defective enough again to kill himself before he has to face any of the reprisals.

I sincerely hope that there is a special part of Hell with extra hot pokers to put in his pee hole.

RIP to the victims (those shot and those not shot, who will still be affected going forward) and their families.

I think about how my life patterns have changed in say the past 17 years. My wanderlust diminished, my desire to attend concerts or other large gatherings gone, my trust in people greatly affected. If I could I'd live an even more isolated life than I do now.

"They" are winning.
