Had a meeting in a 'business' type atmosphere. The wife advised me it would be in my best interest to not wear shorts.

I'm not wearing pants again until I visit Chicago with the freezing/blowing snow. Christmas time. If even then.

I own about 15 - 20 pairs of shorts. Some are very nice. The nice one are worn in church & other special occasions.

FWIW, it's damn near a hundred degrees every day.

*When in Rome... do as the Romans do.....

Yeah, it's 94f here right now. I don't even think about long pants. Went for a 2.5 mile walk earlier. That was about all I could take.

I was at jury duty a few weeks ago -- some dude was wearing shorts -- I had trouble processing that. Nobody said anything and he stayed for the duration. Never got seated on a jury, though.

I'm not sure where I stand on this. If I'm ever faced with the prospect of a jury trial -- I may want some laid back dude in the box.

On the other hand -- for the next time time OJ murders someone, I think I'd prefer the jurors wear pants.

As my enthusiasm is only lukewarm, I donned just a single pant...

I had to alternate the 3 pair of pants that still fit me during jury duty. 8 days of court, a cap punishment sentencing trial, I not only wore pants, I tucked the shirt.

Though I have to wear pants at work, Iâm still 100% shorts on my personal time. I generally take the fall clothes out of storage somewhere between Columbus Day and the 3rd week of October, when my family has a timeshare in the Poconos, where I will need them.

âI'm not sure where I stand on this. If I'm ever faced with the prospect of a jury trial -- I may want some laid back dude in the box.â

Sounds like someone I would want if I were picking...not even smart enough to put on pants for jury duty? Perfect!

When I did my jury duty recently there were quite a few peeps in shorts and tee in the pool. None were picked. Another instruction was shirt must be tucked when entering the courtroom. One juror didn't and I thought "uh-oh", but then I realized she wasn't a dude.

Go for a lightweight silk/cashmere mix kilt. The full fat options are way too hot. unless you keep spinning or stand over an air con unit.
