There's a long history of diva NFL wide receivers, Terrel Owens when he was here comes to mind, but this guy is maybe the biggest tool I've ever seen.

After he scored his first TD yesterday, he drops on all fours and liftes his leg like a dog peeing.

stay classy OBJ...

great game btw, culminating in a franchise record game winning 61 yard field goal w/1 second left by the rookie

NFL brought back the rule that allows end zone celebrations...this is what you get.

This is one of the role models for youths that have no parental guidance, and even for some that do.

Yeah, high-fiving and backslapping is great. And allowing the emotion to show makes it exciting for the fans. OBJ is all about OBJ, he's not interested in a team celebration. Class A Moron!

It's not just good..

...it's good enough.

I'm a Giants fan - and I enjoy watching OBJ play.

I do not enjoy his extra-curricular antics.

I get that sports can be emotional and all, but that, "Look at me! Look at me!" showboating has always bothered me.

And, sadly, OBJ is the current poster child - and deservedly so - for that awful behavior.

I had hoped that by now he might grow up and learn to control that nonsense - for his own good. So far, there are no signs of that happening.

yeah, he made 2 incredible TD catches and then spent the rest of his time taunting the fans.

the guy has serious mental issues.

Being a Giants fan, I keep hoping the extra activities have ended.
But, no!

Worst of all, the penalty gave Philly better field position.
In a close came like that, it is so self-defeating.
Can't remember if it led to a Philly score or not.

Why do they do this, don't they realize they end looking like a little girl? Real men spike the ball and get right back to the game.

I was boycotting the NFL before it was a thing. I just don't like football so other than the occasional Superbowl or when the 49ers were a team, I am completely uninterested in spending my time watching a game that is mostly commercials and time outs.

Apparently, gone are the days that a guy makes a play and does not make a complete show of his mentality.

I just wish there were more that just score, and it doesn't lead to a big dance, a feed me, a whatever. In todays NFL climate, they need all the adulthood they can find.

I'm boycotting the NFL and the Giants in particular, until they get an offensive line!

If you're gonna act like that you'd better win. I am a big fan of guys who make spectacular plays the just toss the ball to the ref as they run off the field like it's just another day at the office.

My old coach on what you do when you score a touchdown:

Give the ball to the nerest official and jog back to the sideline looking like this is a common occurrence.

Exactly. Today's touchdown celebration looks like they just won The Super Bowl or perhaps they might never score again. If you look up the word showboat there is a video of a touchdown celebration.

I admit OBJ's TD celebration antics were sad and embarrassing. However, these kind of antics have been going on since the 70's, at least.

ALSO - I've been watching the Steelers since I was a little kid and I'm NOT going to stop just because of stupid TD celebrations or kneeling player protesters.

It's like telling me I can't listen to Jimi Hendrix anymore! As they say in New Jersey: "F that noise."
