? That's the only response I could come up with. What on earth are/is "meat sweats"? Now, if you mean meat sweets as in bacon, well...

So I took one for the team. The first Google response is:<br /> <br /> ""Meat sweats" is the mysterious condition whereby, after ingesting a generous helping of meat, you begin to sweat like a fat man in a cake shop. First identified by competitive eaters, for whom the malady is an occupational hazard, the meat sweats are thought to be caused by the combination of adrenaline and protein."<br /> <br /> To answer the question, no I have not. XD

No. I have lived off of mostly just meat during one my diet phases and never had any such sweats.

In reply to the question as defined by dudesweet157- no.<br /> <br /> Other definitions of "meat sweats" may require a different reply.<br /> <br /> Or "no reply".

I wanna say yes. In fact, I have registered a notable elevation in body temperature after eating a steak the size of a toilet seat. <br /> <br /> Sweating curry chicken is kinda nasty, too.

Mostly seems to happen to me during sleep after a large beef meal. I have cut back to reasonable servings so not so much anymore. My wife gets them with even with normal servings (4-6 oz)

I thought this thread was getting some traction at "... you begin to sweat like a fat man in a cake shop", but then, I dunno.

No meat sweats, but when I used to drink heavily, I'd wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat.<br /> <br /> Hot peppers make my nose run, if that's any help.

I get the meat sweats at night after eating a large steak. My wife hates the term and I'm no longer allowed to say it at home or in polite company. I can attest to the fact that it's a real thing.
