Supro 1600 Supreme 25-watt 1x10" Tube Combo, $699. Good grief. I've been eyeballin' this amp for some time and thought it was a pretty decent deal @ $999. Then Sweetwater goes and puts them on sale for $300 off! Ordered a Supro cover to go with it. I haven't even been able to sneak in my new Flashback pedal yet! Woe is me! ;o) <br /> <br /> Should be here Tuesday-Wednesday.

jhawkr, nice score but I'm having a hard time telling if you have GAS or are just addicted to Bit-O-Honeys.<br /> <br /> Maybe you could request that Sweetwater start shipping your gear with celery or kale instead.

Sweet! Sadly when my Katana arrived from Sweetwater yesterday, there was no treat bag. :-(

What I hate is when the candy bag is all Smarties and the cinnamon things.

Frankly, don't care for any of it. I'm happy with good service, products and prices. No amount of candy is going to change that equation for me. YMMV...

Well, MMCDV! (My Mileage Certainly Does Vary :) It's a marketing thing that goes with their name and it certainly does seem to be working as we are talking about it! ;o) It's not the candy, it's the good will gesture. Or, maybe it is the candy! Did you see all those Bit-O-Honey's that came with my Flashback pedal! ;o)<br /> <br />

"What I hate is when the candy bag is all Smarties and the cinnamon things."<br /> <br /> That would work for me. Bit-o-honey... not so much.

The Smarties I give to my 6 year old granddaughter. It's her favorite candy and she usually only gets a few around halloween.

Candy aside, if I *needed* another amp that Supro might just be the one I would end up with. Enjoy that thing.

A no-frills tiny beast. Reputed to be great with pedals. The new HOF & Flashback I'm hoping will complement the Supro well. If Sweetwater will put a Supro Tremo-Verb on sale for $4-500 off I'd buy one of those too! ;o)

Got my little Supro today. Tiny little thing but with surprising heft! 32 lbs. I hope to get to spend some time with it this weekend.

I'm telling you, at 1st glance, this Supro is built like a tank! Very, very well put together! It just oozes quality build! Now, as to whether or not that translates to things like performance and dependability I just can't yet say. But, even the handle is a quality piece! Kind of reminds me of my old Mesa Boogies. Except $699!!!

I managed to get the Supro home and into the garage, then later to the basement undetected! So far, so good! I think I need to buy another storage rack! ;o)<br />
