Does anyone know of what material...plywood, pine boards, MDF, etc...the cabinets for Marshall amp heads in the 1960's and 1970's were constructed?

Thanks,

MG

I tried to find out but couldn't find the info you are looking for. My guess would be pine.

Das rite.

Aspen Pittman, in his Tube Amp Book (and other amp historians as well) describes "high-quality birch plywood" used in the construction of the head and speaker cabinets.
