Hi Everybody <br /> <br /> Has anyone here visited the physical Adirondack Guitars in NY state?<br /> <br /> I'm traveling to NY and Maine in September with my family - which is a pretty big deal for us since we live in Denmark in Europe - and I want to make sure they have a proper selection of lefty guitars at the store and not just the 3 lefty squiers in the corner that every other brick and mortar guitar shop has... before I drag the whole family that way around.<br /> <br /> Anyone have any experience with the store?<br /> <br /> Thank you very much in advance!

I've ordered from them with good results. <br /> <br /> I believe they have lefty inventory in the store. Seems to me I've seen pictures.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too from having looked at the website. Just wanted to hear if anyone had actually seen it. It would suck to get there and find out that most of the lefty inventory was at a warehouse or something...

Just wanted to follow up on this: So I emailed John from adkguitar (Adirondack Guitar have a new website up with this address, definitely check it out) and he was very friendly and quick to respond to any inquiries I had. Turns out they don't have all the guitars on the website in stock but he asked me to send him a list of the ones I was interested in and he would write me whether they were in stock or not. Great service.<br /> So they had a lot of the guitars I was gassin' over in stock and I wound up dropping by a couple of days ago while I was in the neighborhood. What a great feeling to walk into a guitar shop and playing 8 or 9 different lefties!!! All quality instruments. I ended up not liking the guitars I thought I'd like nearly as much as expected so I didn't actually buy any. Which is good news 'cause I have plenty of guitars already. But I must admit there was one that still sticks with me in my mind... I might just end up getting it from their website at some point, we'll see :D<br /> Anyway, I can't recommend them highly enough. They are great people, friendly and service minded and I would definitely buy from them in a heartbeat.
