Pretty cool!

I see Howard stole my ideer with that footswitch, thabastid! Back in the early 80s a pal of mine had an Ampeg V3 head and no three-button footswitch to select channel A on, channel B on, and reverb.

So I made him one from a 12" length of 2x4, and I drilled three holes in the bottom of it for the switches using a 1.5" forstner bit. That pedal was indestructible.

I believe that this very amp was profiled in Vintage Guitar magazine a couple of years ago.
Cool factor is off the chart. So is the price tag. Someday maybe I'll get to play through one.

Very cool and fine playing, even if it wasn't the same Mick Taylor I was hoping for!

Yeah, I also thought it was gonna be "the" Mick Taylor, which was why I clicked on it. Got over my initial disappointment, though.

Mick and his cohort Daniel Steinhardt also have a YouTube channel for pedal demos - "That Pedal show". There are a lot of Dumble clone amps AND pedals out there that get you close to "the sound" without a multi-$K investment. I've never had the privilege of playing a real Dumble but the Fuchs ODS head I have is satisfying to my ears for both clean and overdriven tones.
