I'll play along. New Tracking Number Day. I'll give you a hint. It's of no use to you Nikonistas.

Cool! That's purdy! Congratulations! I bet you're going to love it. Be sure to report on it and post some photos when you're ready.

Thanks!<br /> <br /> I bought a "used - very good" one. That saved me @$400. Should be here tomorrow.<br /> <br /> This will be the longest lens I own. And I can, in theory, put it on my T6s reaching to an equivalent 480mm. I will play around with that configuration as well.

"Another lame hint. <br /> <br /> I've longed for this."<br /> <br /> Eva Longoria? Well, a white Canon lens is good, too.

Thanks all. I'm really looking forward to this. I've got a stay-cation coming up in two weeks and I want to stalk the wildlife around the lake behind us. Given the distances involved this should do well. I normally have taken my T6s w/55-250 out for this duty. Looking forward to stepping into the full-frame world.

I can sneak up on them in the wild... but I don't have to get too close and spook 'em.<br /> <br /> Have you ever even seen a Strat in the wild? <br /> <br /> I dint think so.

I'm waiting until Fuji puts their 55-200 lens on sale. That along with the 18-55 kit lens I already own will go very nicely on my X-Pro 1.

On my 6D this gives me a range from 17mm out to 300mm. All "L" series glass. For shallow DOF I have a couple of primes that do that extremely well.

No images to post yet. <br /> <br /> This thing is a beast! Superb performance as well. I've never been disappointed in Canon L series glass and this one is no exception.

I've taken a few "let's try this thing out" images with nice success. This lens is, like pretty-much all Canon L glass, tack-sharp. The IS is excellent, which is good because this is a heavy lens (for me any ways). I probably need to work out more. ;-)<br /> <br /> I noted that my images were a bit overexposed. Sometimes I lean this way anyways, but these were another stop beyond that.<br /> <br /> If I walk around downtown with it I'll look like some sort of paparazzi.
