From the video it sounds as good as the FLY 3. Obviously has more control over tone shaping.<br /> <br /> These modern mini solid state amps are friggin' cool.

I like that they are pretty much "just an amp" without 50 different models and effects. I prefer that and using pedals.<br /> <br /> So far there's only one shop here that's listing them available for pre-order at $134 AU, which isn't too bad in the current economy.<br /> <br /> I'm sure they'll come down once there's more shops have them available.<br />

Mick, that's what I like about 'em too. Simple,<br /> easy to use amps without a ton of digital effects. The only thing digital with the Fly 3 is the delay, the rest is analog.

Roland/Boss makes some pretty cool stuff. I just picked up a little MicroCube RX Bass amp which is a fun practice tool. Surprisingly decent, low-volume bass tones from such tiny speakers. Will also run on batteries so it makes a great bass amp for playing your bass with acoustic guitars around a campfire.
