A couple years ago I put my living room speakers on stands. Apparently the right speaker was too close to a guitar I had hanging on the wall behind it.

Not long after my redecorating I noticed the guitar had a really weak output from the bridge humbucker. Especially into a clean amp.

I finally (tonight) got around to swapping the magnet. All is well again!

You can re-mag a magnet too!

Two neo mags will do it.

Leftee, I had a black 2 HB strat that looked a lot like that! Warmoth "ruby pearloid" pickguard and maple/maple neck.
However mine was a MIK Squier and had standard strat controls - 1V, 2T.

Cool you got it back in action!

Thanks!

I'm not one for black guitars. Before the innerwebs that was a common lefty offering. I traded for this one a few years ago on Craigslist and ordered that pickguard. I really like the way it turned out. I deleted the volume control position on the pickguard. I don't really like that control that close to the bridge pickup.

This guitar is a rock machine!

I just logged into my Warmoth account. Yep! That's where I got mine as well. Ordered 1/31/2014.

"I'm not one for black guitars."

Yeah, me neither. The two black strats I've ever owned have both eventually got a refinish.
I thought about it with this one. The pickguard saved the day.
