I got a set of these for the AVG-Caster. It started life as an Agile TC630 that I snagged new for cheap. It's been my Tele for years now.

All I can say is wow! I've never had such sweet Tele tones. These absolutely nail the blackguard era Tele tones. I also wired up a 4-way switch. Never done that before. I don't know why. Love it!

I highly recommend these pickups!

Aaron is an A#1 pickup maker.

And someone I'm proud to call a personal friend.

I had a set of Aaron's White Ropes in one Tele and through an unfortunate set of circumstances had not swapped them out when selling off a guitar prior to my Michigan to Florida move. I'm a big fan of Fralin and Lollar pickups but the White Ropes totally hit the spot for me. If it weren't for my current need for noiseless pickups (bad electro enviro) I'd order another set it a heartbeat. As it stands, even Wilde Noisefrees and humbuckers get noisy in high gain situations in my micro studio.

It's funny, but years ago I had no use for a Tele. I always associated them with twangy country music. Then I wandered across this video. Mind blown. I get it now.

Yes, the Tele is for me!

I haven't tried recording with these yet. And, since I moved a little over a year ago, I haven't recorded. So I don't know what my noise situation is here.

If it turns out I do have a noise situation I will solve it with a different guitar. These pickups will stay in this one. They make me smile. A lot.

+++ on the Rumples. I met Aaron 7-8 years ago and he worked with me to wind some custom sets per my specs for my Strat and Tele type builds. I'm a luthier, and I'm asked all the time what pickups are in this thing? I keep a dozen or so assorted sets around. The mans gotta a gift as you who use them know!
