American Pro Jazzmaster. My friend John just bought the sunburst model. We play many styles of music including 1960's surf.

Fender really did a wonderful job with quality, playability, and tone with the new Jazzmaster. I really liked the thin tall frets, new tremolo system and the treble bleed.

John's new Jazzmaster and my Johnny Marr Jaguar really sound great together. With my 59 Bassman and 57 Deluxe clone we nailed the early Venture sound, with reverb the early 1960's surf sound was right there.

Fender is finally including the Jazzmaster and Jaguar in their American made professional guitars. And they are outstanding!

Good to hear.
That confirms what I've seen and heard about those new models. Nice to see Fender producing offsets again - with various models at different levels.

I played my Thinskin Jazzmaster last night as part of the host band at our local Open Mic/Jam.
We covered all sorts of stuff through the evening and the JM fit into everything.

I had mine plugged into my '68 Deluxe Reverb with just a Dano FAB Delay in the chain. Killer sound!
