Just got my 2013 Cambronita Tele Thinline today. Transparent white. Very nice, and very well built. It's used but like new.

I've only played about 15 minutes but I'll have more time tomorrow. It sounds....I'm not sure. I hear tele in there, I hear Gretsch in there and acoustic tones...also some P90.

This will take getting used to. I like it though, and lightweight!

Very cool!

I've been tempted by those a few times, but haven't had an opportunity to play one.

I'd definitely want to try before I buy, as I'm dubious about the lack of a tone control.
I know I could install one, but...

Oh, and remember FDP Rule #37...

You know, I love Strats to death and that was the guitar I grew up with but I came around to Teles in the late 90's. I frickin' LOVE Teles.

That's the secret sauce in the Telecaster: it's a no-frills guitar that has everything you need and nothing you don't. I think the lack of 'features' allows the player to focus on making music without getting distracted by the equipment.

Congrats on the new Tele score!

ps - I own 2 Teles now. My recently acquired Baja Tele is my go to country guitar. I do need to play my American Series Tele more, however.

I sold my 88 American tele a while back and don't like not having a tele.

This one has a real nice sound. Been playing through my 68 SF Princeton Reverb. I played a little more last night and it's going to stay awhile.

Oh, and I didn't miss the tone knobs at all. Peegoo is correct, just play it!

I like it. Probably sounds great through that '68 Custom Princeton Reverb.
