His E strings looks about as thick as my D. The capo like thing? Is that to adjust the harmonics range?

what do you mean the bass is too loud?

OK, so I'm an OldFartBassPlayer.<br /> <br /> He sounded great, but had NOTHING to<br /> do with playing bass. May have as well<br /> played it on a baritone, or chapman or<br /> a regular guitar.<br /> <br /> When he shows he can put down a down and<br /> dirty butt-movin' groove, then I'll grovel. <br /> <br /> Till then, get off my lawn<br /> <br /> ofbpWalt

He is phenomenal and it sounded incredible but I am with wborys "He sounded great but had nothing to do with bass"

Over the years, I've been called by a lot of bands who replaced bass players like this guy with bass players like me...for my: big tone, simple lines, can play with a drummer, dirty, butt-moving groove (thanks OFBP), etc., etc.<br /> <br /> George

Incredible performance! What he is doing on bass is not for everyone, but I enjoy performances like this very much. What I don't get is why this needs to be compared to want is being done in a band? It has nothing to do with that. It's a solo performance, totally different context!

"for my: big tone, simple lines, can play with a drummer, dirty, butt-moving groove"<br /> <br /> THIS is what speaks to me and it is why I am a bassist.<br /> <br />
