Now I want one!<br /> <br /> I've been looking at them recently and was curious how the 24" scale would feel. I picked it up in the shop whilst I was trialling some other stuff, and I *really* liked the feel & sound of these.<br /> <br /> The one I tried was a H/S with split bridge HB.<br /> Sounded great clean and with dirt. I think I'd lean towards the S/S model if I were to spring for one.<br /> <br /> Well, it *is* a new year, so I'll eventually have to make a "first purchase of 2017", right?<br /> <br /> Bloody GAS!

I had a Squier Classic Vibe for a while, the one finished in Desert Sand and gold pickguard. It was a good guitar that I shouldn't've gotten rid off. The pups were especially nice and it was a good light weight travel guitar. I really don't know why I off-loaded it other than I felt I didn't play it enough. Ended up spending more money on a Epiphone Les Paul Special with P-90s; another light weight guitar with nice pups.

I looked at one in a shop too, and my brain started churning: "Get this when it goes on sale, and have a Warmoth 24" '59 roundback neck ready to go, and..."<br /> <br /> I had to walk away. Too much time thinking about that and I'd just do it.<br /> <br /> They are GREAT little guitars. Liz Phair made an entire career playing a Duo Sonic. Adrian Belew played modified Mustangs onstage.

I bought the olive green Mustang back in October. Awesome in every way...for me.

I would be fine with a Mustang as my only guitar.<br /> <br /> I love my other beasts, but for years, a Mustang was the only thing I ever used.<br /> <br /> I was never, ever undergunned.

I was lucky enough to play one recently. Extremely nice! Had a more solid feel than the Classic Vibe I had. Didn't feel as flimsy. I really wanted it!
