The second annual DC jam is now official! We've reserved the Electric Maid, a good venue for a 30-person jam, on Sunday, March 5, from 10 AM-7 PM. Music will probably commence around noon.

If you attended last year, we plan pretty much the same event, kind of a Junior version of Clamfest, yet with our own special DC weirdness :^)

So far, gmanNJ has agreed to crank up his terrific List of Love system to allow participants to nominate and vote on the tunes we'll play.

Stay tuned here for more details. And please chime in if you can make it and share any ideas and other comments.

March on, brothers!

ok light is on... email me song suggestions or feel free to post here.

I got a couple already and am making a list of love

and as per the custom please consider buying a star for the FDP to support keeping the doors open. I try to buy at least one per jam but this time I am requesting everyone to purchase BEFORE the jam. See thread below...
Those songs will be put on the list we all vote for. If enough people want them they will make the final list. Then if they do the slots will be open to all on a first come first served basis.

This is done in rounds where we can all pic only 5 sings per slot.so you can grab 5 vox, 5 guitar and 5 bass slots in round 1. this makes it fair to all

Gary Moore's "Still Got the Blues" is a good song and an opportunity for soulful guitar soloing (and horns)--though Moore's guitar pyrotechniques are way beyond my level!

Do you advanced fellas think this one would work?
