New Used Tele Day!

I actually got this a few days ago, but wanted to make some changes to it before showing it off.

It's a 2013 MIM Standard Tele in Arctic White in excellent (near mint) condition. It was purchased from a shop by a drummer a year ago and he never got around to learning guitar. It must have been old stock (2013?) Not sure of that story, but it *is* near new condition.

The mods/changes were more about personal preference and appearance than necessity.
I already have a stock (mostly) MIM Standard, so I thought I'd create something a little different.
If nothing else, I *had* to have a black pickguard!

Changes I made: Black 3-ply guard; Wilkinson 3-saddle compensated bridge; Pearl top knobs; Gotoh Kluson-style vintage tuners and Barrel-style string tree.

I kept the stock ceramic pickups 'cause I think they work really well and sound great.
"what?..no black binding?.."

Yeah, not *really* a Tux. More of a poor man's reverse tuxedo.
Maybe I'll go around the edges with a black sharpie!

;^)

I like it. Black guard is a nice touch. Parchment would also look good on that Tele.

Thanks Viera.

"Parchment would also look good on that Tele."

That was the stock guard colour!
I like contrast. Probably says something about my personality! ;^)
