My girlfriend recently purchased a used B.C. Rich Mockingbird Mk7. She too is left handed, but doesn't play yet. I am teaching her the basics of how to play bass first.
The Mockingbird (purple) is my first experience with a Floyd Rose. The previous owner tuned down half a step, and when I first tried to tune it, I broke the high E string between the nut and the tuning peg. I didn't realize that's not how to tune a Floyd Rose equipped guitar!!
It is a very cool guitar, with coil-splitting pickups, an out-of-phase switch and a Vari-tone selector. I love playing it! It is definitely different!

You have to be a contributing member to post pics in your account - an annual "membership" is $30, and it keeps the FDP going.
