Last week i posted a setlist for a gig i have coming up at the VFW. I'm only planning on setting up my amp,Behringer Ultracoustic ACX450 Acoustic amp. I've used it before at bar with a big area and it seemed to be pretty loud dialed in at about 7 on both channels. The bar area at the VFW is not all that big, probably about 1000 sq ft. lots of clutter in there. i'll be by the jukebox open area. I don't think i'll need the PA since the amp has a channel for the mic. It's just me, my guitar, 1 mic, amp. Any suggestions?

thanks
Dave

Sounds like the perfect rig for what you're doing.

Yep. That's plenty.

Set the amp up on a chair to get better sound dispersion, or tilt it back about 15-20 degrees to help move the sound around the room.

If tables are close to where you're set up, face the amp to the wall behind/beside you. That breaks up the beaminess of the speaker and makes for a better room sound.

Good advice so far...nothing to add.
