We had a great jam back in the spring, I was wondering if there is any interest for another this year.

Oct 9th, Sunday is available. This gives us enough time to plan and practice.

Who's in?

""""ANY INTEREST"""" Are you kidding?????

Where do we sign up!

PS: Pete: I got my hands on a "LOUDER" snare drum as you requested. This way we can eliminate any concerns that you have and give the "Electric Axes" a run for the money; Because you know those "Guitar Boys" aren't going to turn the volume down!!

It will be nice to have a fall Clamfest. I did not play much all summer (slacker!)

Date looks good for me. Need to check with the S-Woman to make sure nothing is on our calendar.

Puddles is still around (she's 11 1/2) so we want to get her to as many as she has left in her ;)

once we get a critical mass of FDPers we can look at songs/themes/costume changes (I am looking at YOU Peegoo!)
The Jersey Shore Guitar Show happens on October 9th, 10am - 4pm. I will probably go to that.

would it be narcissistic to suggest "Birthday" by the Beatles?

So far it looks like a green light for me. Need to check with the missus though just to make sure. Hope I can make it.

gman and I talked last week. I heard Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning" on the radio and immediately thought it would be a very cool song to kick off the jam with. Horns, killer bass line and a whole bunch people can sing the chorus.

A call went out to George before the song was over and the ClamFest Express was rolling.

"Beds Are Burning" could be fun... we need someone who looks like Christopher Lloyd in "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit" who also has a very strange singling voice.

I sent an email out to my Clamfest distro in case no one was watching the thread. If you are not on this list (meaning you did not get an email from me) let me know so I can add you- oversight was not intentional. Dont want folks to miss the voting and slot picks.

Kim from DC says it looks good. Those who attended Tiller2s DC jam know shes got a set of pipes on her! She may bring her daughter who also has a killer voice.

Unfortunately Lynn has a gig and cant make it.
IPLAYLOUD has a previous commitment. Maybe some jam in the future will bring him, TBG and Shadoe down the Shore again.

Mark (alto sax) is out for this one so that probably means Adam (trumpet) wont be there (he is a friend of Mark's daughter). So for horns we got Evan and me but we are loud and proud and that sorta makes up for finesse..right?!?!
My Brethren; This is looking better and better every time I log on!

@G-Man: I'm doing the same thing that you are doing; notifying everybody! Both with E-Mails and verbally, to tell them to ring in. I'm sure there are going to be some crossovers and doubles, I apologize to all in advance.

@K9-Big-Dog: Joe, seriously; how is your wife's health doing?

@Peegoo: Littlehand and I will miss your presence, You are still my "HERO".

@Steve Carlo: "Happy Birthday" my friend. Will "Kilts" be the required "Dress" for the day???

Oh, by the way. I found somebody's voice in my trap-case the other day. We grilled up some bacon/cheese burgers, had a couple of beers, and devoured a whole "crumb cake"; so it had to belong to somebody from the spring Clamfest. Who ever the voice belongs to, it is on it's way home, happy and well fed; It will be there well before the fall event!

Did I mention that my Doctor gave me a new medication to address my hallucinations. See you all soon!
