Give me a second to think of something..

I saw a used Standard Series (MIM) tele today without a scratch on it, plastic still on the pickguard, etc. Plays pretty dang good and sounds good as well (although I'd likely put different pickups in it). Very good price too, but I'm trying not to buy anything for a while.

What to do....what to do....lol

What can you possibly be saving your money that's more important then a new guitar.

Get your priorities straight and march back to the store before you lose your focus on what matters in life.

Certainly lrgo needs a Tele, no? If she doesn't like it, well you could always take it off her hands.

It's all gravy from here on...

The question I try to ask myself, (doesn't always work), is if I would really play the guitar given all the others I have at my disposal. Example: I've got about 30 guitars but the only ones I play with any regularity are a LP Traditional and a 64 AV Tele.

Well, I'm only 57, so ya got me there.

"No amount of gear is going to make me a better player; I've certainly learned that one. Practice, practice, practice."

Agreed.

Still have a room full of guitars, though.

Dang.

Well, I haven't gotten it yet. With 80+ guitars I really am trying to only buy the ones that I *really* want. This one is a pretty good deal though.

I hope stratcowboy isn't pissed - he definitely had some valid points!

80?..

wow.... and I thought maintaining 9 was a chore

and of course storing that many is also a challenge..

yikes!

"I hope stratcowboy isn't pissed - he definitely had some valid points!"

No problem. Just thought I had "Too Much Info" there. You obviously got the details I was trying to highlight. Where you go from there is certainly a personal decision. For me...in my life..."less is usually more." Much easier to concentrate (small brain).

And, yeah...we certainly don't have THAT much room (again...one room cabin).
