Bought my second classic vibe Squire I have a Neil Simon 60's Strat and now a CV 50's tele and can't say enough about how good these guitars are. I bought a MIM standard tele last week and returned it the CV 50's tele just smokes it in every way. I've owned vintage Fenders and MIA and MIM Fenders and just want to state that the Squire CV series are awesome quality guitars worthy of the best player.
One last thing people always say is " they're great guitars for the money" I don't like that quote just say they're great guitars and they are to be sure.

Yep, 2 CV's here.

60's Strat & 50's Tele (BSB). Love 'em both!

Did you get the Butter Scotch Blonde or the Vintage Blonde?

I include for the money if you're getting non-solid colors - my burst VI looks like driftwood, but sounds like the voice of God so I could care less what it looks like.

It's also obvious what little corners are cut, but they're relatively easy fixes.

I have many, many Squiers of various vintages, and the current production stuff though is the best across the board - no need to swap electronics, pickups, tuners, etc. On the extreme low end stuff I might still but on the midrange or higher, it's 100% out of the box typically.
