tone to the bone no other way

Our 8-1/2 month pregnant daughter-in-law was cleaning up over the weekend. She hands me an Alvarez Acoustic in a soft bag and tells me to take and play it. She explains that she had bought the guitar but had not played it much more than a couple of strums. It is a lower end Alvarez, the RF27 model. Having been in the world of Dreads for all these years the folk body is significantly smaller, but has a good punchy sound. Neck is really slim and I can see where she would like it a lot. In the end, it is in the guitar camp at the house and will be played as I really like its tone, action and overall playability....Here's a picture of it from our MF sponsor

I love the Alvarez AD60 I bought new for $299 a little over a year ago. It has a Grade A solid spruce top, with a laminated mahogany back and sides. It came with a set of Elixir strings on it, and sounds darn good to my ear.
