What do y'all think of them, particularly the neck pickup? I don't ~need~ another pickup, but there is one nearly for a decent price, new, and I'm itchy...... (I play sweetish more than snarly.)

I love my set, which is installed in a bone stock 2001 CS No caster. They can very sweet when backed off but still give a bit of snarl when cranked and you dig in. The neck in particular is woody, edging into Stratocaster territory.

If you can get it at a reasonable price, I'd say why not?

I have a set of the Nocasters in a Tele. They are big, meaty-sounding pickups. Love 'em.

Don't set them too close to the strings and they clean up nicely when rolled back, playing through a dirty amp.

Ha! I read another ""Don't set them too close to the strings"" comment elsewhere. I'll bear that in mind. A lot of the stuff I don is rather chimey and/or relatively mellow, which is perhaps a little unusual for Telecaster.

I really liked the set I had in one Tele. Meaty is a good adjective. The only reason I replaced them was because I only record these days and needed noiseless pickups in my sinister environment.

I'm recording also. Any Tele work is neck pickup only.

I have a set. I really like the bridge, but never got along with the neck. I think it was too dark for my taste, despite all the reviews that say it is one of the brighter tele necks (go figure).

I ended up keeping the bridge and swapped out the neck.
