I recorded this about a month ago and put a little tribute video slide show together. I used EZ Drummer with the latin percussion pack. For rock/pop I actually prefer the free Manta Audio PowerDrumKit 2 vst plugin. The "acoustic" guitar is actually the Roland GR-55 guitar synth. The GK pickup is mounted on my Floyd Rose Strat and the lower action makes it easy to play but the trade off is a bit of fret buzz that's audible. I did the flute on the GR-55 as well. It passes to my ears but my daugter, the flautist in our house, said, "Hmmph! I can do way better, Dad." LOL! I think she views the GR-55 as a threat.

Anyway, this is an example of local pop, circa 1973. Excuse some of the pitchiness. Hope you enjoy it. Blessings.

Thanks for the kind words bruddah. Macky was such a creative guy, and it was sad and tragic the way he passed.
