Thinking about this tiny amp with its dedicated sub woofer for bass practice.... not looking for big volume, just something to play along to an ipod for in home practice sessions.
I've found no reviews that mention or demonstrate using a bass with it, just guitars.
Anyone?

Did you ever bite on the Lite?

I played through one locally yesterday, because I'm looking for something similar for guitar practice...and something to potentially send a line out to the PA for practice.

The one I played through was on sale for just under $135 - it's been sitting there awhile, I guess, but this was the first time I played it. It sounded fine - surprisingly good, really, although it doesn't have even 1-2 watts worth of tube volume to it...it's enough to hear and have some dynamics. Didn't try it with headphones - I'm sure it would work great that way.

Turning up the gain all the way on the Clean/JC channel adds just a touch of grind with volume also maxed out ... at that point the bass can start getting flubby - have to turn the (active) bass control all the way down.

But that's really the only limitation to this unit is the volume ... and if you're going to run a line out to another amp or a PA, that's a moot point.

I'd like to go back and buy it, but I've been overdosing on gear this month, and still waiting for a lefty Epi Casino to arrive and be paid off.

So I'm waiting until the next paycheck...if it's still there, even I might bite the Lite!

Still haven't found one on a shelf in a store, so I still don't know if it would work at low level for bass.
