Looks great, and that IS a great price for that (is than in Aussie dollars or US dollars? What's the exchange rate?).

I like the idea of the 50's neck - that's what my SG has and it feels great in the hand (for the styles I play, anyway, YMMV).

Share some pics and a review after it arrives!

Mikey that's Aussie Dollars which is an incredible price here. They're usually way pricey $3800 street

exchange rate is around 92cents US for every Aussie dollars so this would be roughly $1850 US.

The reason for the price drop is that the finish is a little hazy around the headstock where they were hung on the wrong style hanger that reacts with nitro,

seen the photos of the blemish not much to worry about its pretty small,

but too me that's no concern I know some really good painters that could fix it if I wanted for the cost of a case of beer.

there were a couple like this. Hopefully its a keeper

That weight's not bad for an LP...don't know how it's chambered, if at all.

I haven't been playing LP's at all lately; I have an Epi Elitist - it's a great guitar, but I usually end up playing my Yammy 335-style or my Gibson SG; it's lots lighter than the LP, of course...but the LP can really give it a run for the money in the tone dept.

The music I do when playing with others usually works best with a Strat, but a few tunes call for buckers. We'll be working on a few new tunes for a couple upcoming gigs, so we'll see what works best. I'd personally like to have a Strat plus backup and a humbucker guitar plus backup, but that's 4 guitars, which is kinda overkill (especially if I also have to bring an acoustic).

Enjoy yours!
