I would like to plug one of those in ... the lower end hollow body Gretches I've strummed locally (right-handed ones) have not particularly impressed me: heavy, dead sounding, with blemishes here and there. Maybe they're much better when plugged in...

I've played a lefty gretsch electromatic 6120 style and it wasn't to bad the neck width was a little to thin for me.<br /> <br /> Unfortunately as with most guitars the wiring of the pots was on or off so couldn't really hear its full potential

"Unfortunately as with most guitars the wiring of the pots was on or off so couldn't really hear its full potential"<br /> <br /> Really? So they do crappy backwards wiring on Gretsch's too? Sad. I'm disappointed to hear that.
