Does anyone have any info on the use of vocal harmonizers (intended for guitar like the TC Helicon Harmony Singer) with keyboards? Would there be any problems with using the keyboard instead of a guitar?

The website information for these harmonizers don't seem to even mention the possibility of using keyboards. There are harmonizers made specifically for keyboard use that use the keyboard's MIDI output but our keyboard only has a USB output for computer connection.

Thanks for any advice.

The ART auto tune pre might work, but not sure if you'd need a separate converter...

I was just wondering what would happen if I just plugged the keyboard's 1/4 inch output line into the harmonizer as you would a guitar. If the harmonizer "reads" frequencies, then I don't see why it wouldn't work the same as if a guitar was plugged in.

It probably would work fine. I thought you only had USB.

I forgot to mention the 1/4 inch "regular" output. The Yamaha keyboard we have also has a USB port only for exchanging info with a computer.
Thanks for the encouraging feedback...I may just try it.
