Please help me win a bet. Everyone knows Lennon/McCartney had a loose collaboration for around 90% of the band's songwriting although they were jointly credited for each song they "wrote". Is anyone aware of any Beatles song that George shared songwriting credits with either John or Paul?

I say not. Can anyone suggest a song or songs this may have occured on? Or do I win the bet?

Go to the attached link and there are quite a few songs where Harrison is listed as a co-writer with Lennon or McCartney.

Revolution #9 and Taxman seem to jump out to me (even though Lennon does not appear on the credits for Taxman).

Before they were famous:
"In Spite Of All The Danger"-McCartney, Harrison
"Cry For A Shadow"-Lennon, Harrison

Also, 'Magical Mystery Tour' has
"Flying"-Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, Starkey

Great question. All I could come up with were these:

Flying
Ringo Starr / George Harrison / Paul McCartney / John Lennon

Step Inside Love/Los Paranoias
John Lennon / Paul McCartney / George Harrison / Ringo Starr

and one without George:

What Goes On
Richard Starkey / Paul McCartney / John Lennon

Taxman is a GH composition. Revolver was at the peak of collaboration between all four Beatles. George wrote the song and brought it in. All four participated brilliantly in the performance dynamics in the studio. Taxman might be the best example of a Beatles song that has the distinct presence of all four performers' styles.

What was Lennon's contribution to "Taxman" other than some possible lyrics, which I would imagine he often helped the others except possibly the odd Paul song which was completely written by Paul with assistance from George on guitar.

IMO George got shortchanged because he added a lot of signature guitar licks on the songs for which he didn't get credit. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. I don't doubt that there was quite a bit of collaboration on lead guitar, especially from Paul.
