Hi everyone. I've been lurking and registered for a while now but this is my first entry.

I have a SFIII with a ser. #EK in the 1300's which is 1966 according to the Guild chart.

I'm trying to determine if it is a Hoboken or Westerly build. The label inside has a Hoboken NJ address. Is this enough to say it is definitely a Hoboken guitar? That's the year they moved the factory to Westerly I believe.

I would say it IS a Hoboken build.

However, I'd check with the folks over in the Guild Forum to be sure.

6

Thank you 6. I'm not registered over there, but I did search some of the archives without any conclusions. I thought I'd inquire of some of the Guild experts here as well.

Hoboken

Guild didn't acquire the building in Westerly until 1967, and it took a few years to set it up and go into full production
