Comments:  Started in 1970... always had a P-bass, but also have owned an old stack-knob Jazz,(before I knew what it was!) two T-birds, 77 Musicman, '65 Guild Starfire, and now rely on my Nash basses - a slab "52" and a "63 J", plus my Fenders, a 1965 P and 1969 Tele for old-school Fender bottom. Tube amp nut for most of my life, recently shed the big items and simply use a Quilter Bassliner system, lightweight, 800 watts and tons of tone! sounds good and no mo' hernia. For smaller stages a Mesa Walkabout hybrid, single twelve.
