The Katana is a great amp.

But I dunno about that new logo with the chevrons. Makes me want to click on it to get a pull-down menu.

Either that, or it's an enlisted rank insignia for the Japanese Navy.

These amps will be great too. Roland makes great products that are reasonably priced and reliable.

The promo video is impressive. I'm happy with my K50 for a practice amp but would like to give a MKII a spin.

There's also the Nextone amp line. Roland will be releasing their ver 2.0 in a few weeks.

Nuh...

I'm D-U-N, dun!

Got my Roland Blues Cube Artist and my Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb...

Just on-board reverb and tremolo for effects. Use my pedalboard for the rest. No deep diving.

Oh btw, I ended up selling off the Nextone once I got the TMDR.

Should I need another amp, I'll be bagging a Katana of one type or another - love my GT100, and, well...no-brainer.

I’ve always liked the 100 head. The internal speaker is what sells it to me.

Leftee - The Line 6 Spider V 240HC head has two internal speakers. I bought one of these used for low volume and headphone practice, after watching some demo videos, and it sounds better than my Katana 50 (to me anyway).

Since I generally don't care for Line 6 amps and modelers, I was a bit shocked that I liked this head.

I was a/b'ing my Eleven Rack to the sound in the above linked demo. Tried to incorporate that leap maneuver at 0:50 but clipped my ceiling fan with my forehead.

Not sure this amp is for me.

This is adding to my GAS for the head version.

I have a Katana mini, in which I installed a speaker out jack. Cranked into a 2x12 with a Les Paul, it is LOUD and epic!

I've been gigging with my MKII for a couple of weeks now. Just sold my HRDx III. After using tube amps for 44 years, and trying transistor amps before, I'm sold on the Katana. The line-out actually sounds good running direct to the PA.

I have been mulling over getting one of these and for some reason went with a Mustang LT25. I've only played around with it a couple times but it sounds fantastic. I'm going to use it for a rehearsal amp.
