One of the old-timers at our Skeet Club (he's 85), brought in a carload of reloading components, laid it out on a table, and said "Take it all, boys, I'm done".

I should probably do this with some guitars someday.

Yeah, I understand. I did this with a bunch of radio-control stuff a while back.

It is sad while boxing it up and carrying it all away. But once it's gone, it is quite liberating!

I'm in the process of packing to move. I have a bunch of reloading supplies and I reload about once every couple years. I'm seriously thinking about taking all my components, going on a reloading binge, then selling the gear.

I have too many hobbies. At least that's my conclusion as I pack box after box of hobbie related stuff.

I sold all my reloading gear a couple of years ago. I couldn't get anyone to take the gear with the components (wads, powder, primers and all). So I loaded all that I had and then sold the press and sizer.

Also sold my boat as it wasn't being used and costing me money.

Just don't have the desire anymore.

I had 1 shotshell and 3 metallic cartridge reloaders. Now I'm down to 1 metallic cartridge.

Sold a few firearms also, thinning the herd!

"Kinda cool, kinda sad."

This. It's very sad to see my 83 year old dad lose interest in everything that we have done together over the years.

I can see getting rid of stuff, but my guns and reloading stuff will likely be the last of my gear to go.

It's cool that the old guy wants to pass on the tools of his hobby. There are a lot of young guys who are members of my gun club - they would be stoked to have this stuff.
