...since I finished my last build... and I'm already considering parts for a new one!

Jeez I need help!!!

Not sure what I want, but maybe another set neck something-or-other.

I came up with a list of "revisions" I want to make on a few of my previous builds, and I did one the other day, but my mind keeps pulling me toward a fresh one...

Cripes! It's a bloody sickness I tells ya!

Do you have any offset Fender guitars?

I am doing a Jaguar next. Love that 24" scale, too.

The rest of my list includes a hardtail strat

A P bass

A top loading Telecaster

Jazzmaster...

and shell pink RW strat.

I'm cutting out a Tele body this coming week from chestnut.

I'll hollow it out and it will be super lightweight.

You guys know you're not helping, right????

wrnchbndr, you may be onto something...
Maybe not rosewood, but "thinline" and "set neck" gave me tingles.

PG - I read about that slab-o-walnut, can't wait to see what you do with it!

I definitely want to do something (body) from a blank piece of timber one day (probably not the next one though). And I don't know I'll ever take on building a neck...

The voices in my head are talking about a mahogany body with a carved pine top with herringbone purfling and a tortoise pickguard.

Mick, I have some good news, and I have some bad news. I'm going to give you the bad news first. Your condition is incurable.

The good news is that your condition is incurable!!! However, to Guitar Fool's point, this condition can also be terminal.

Yes, married, but I must have picked a good one. Or a good one picked me. Either way I know who got the better deal ;^)

They say that a problem shared, is a problem halved.

I must say, since starting this thread, my compulsion for my next fix has been reduced.

That's called a remission. Not the same as a cure.

I just built a dulcimer -- nearly finished. Its my first real acoustic instrument built at home. You can always try something new and different.
