Great news MJB, glad to hear it.
From your other thread ...
"Additional screw ups and I swear NONE of the people involved are capable of communication with each other unless I'm guiding them through it."
I experienced this during my adventure through a medical calamity ten years ago.
I swear everyone must have a layman's working understanding of their own medical condition and treatment.
Had I not been able to explain the way through some confusion among the medical experts regarding my case, I know some crazy crap could have ensued.

“Had I not been able to explain the way through some confusion among the medical experts regarding my case, I know some crazy crap could have ensued.”
I have a significantly higher than average understanding of medicine than most lay people but I never let on that I do. Until I need to.
The one exception was when, as he was about to administer the epidural, the anesthesiologist in the delivery room asked me what I do for a living. He was reaching out toward my wife with the needle when I blurted out “Plaintiff’s medical malpractice attorney”.
He literally pulled the needle back and took a step back to discuss it with me before he proceeded.
I wasn’t planning on telling him at all, but my comedic timing is way too sharp to not take that opportunity.

Thank you all.
Overjoyed to be cancer free but I still have to get to the bottom of my stomach aches.
I'm seeing my GI doc this morning. I'm guessing an endoscopy is next on the agenda.

In a couple of weeks they will scope both ends.
At least it can be done during the same visit.
I just have to make sure to tell them to do the upper first.

When I had my end to end scoping done in 2013 they found: a mild hiatal hernia, GERD, gastritis, internal hemorrhoids and diverticulosis. Basically inflammation from one end to the other. No polyps though.
I will say the procedure was a breeze and felt like the best nap I ever had.
