"Only one in stock."

Hilarious!

The replacement tuning machines and non-original bridge pickup volume knob knocked the value down perhaps $10K.

I'm hoping they'll consider a 'Hello Kitty' Strat in partial trade...

It costs $237.12 per minute to even *look* at (per the Elderly Website), so we'll have to take up a collection.

Hmmmmm....maybe put it on lay-away for a bit. Should be good to go by Christmas-time (2057).

Elderly is right around the corner. Maybe they will let me noodle on it for an afternoon. NOT!

Totally not worth it to me. IMO, this is a clear case of "my amp goes 12 not ten, therefore it is better"

I'd wager my paycheck with Elderly that I could go through their selection of LPs and given the time.... pick one that will play and sound damn near the same.

That said... I'd wager two more of my paychecks that Elderly wouldn't play the game.

The jerk who bought Gilmour's black Strat will probably snag it with his pocket change...

littleuch, I stopped by a couple weeks ago and humbly asked just to see it. I'd never even seen one. They insisted I play it and left me alone in the amp room to have a go.

I have played enough guitars to know whether I like one or not pretty much right away, so I only spent five or ten minutes. Even the store employee was surprised I was done so quickly, but I'm a stickler for not abusing other people's gear or putting more wear than necessary on it. It was quite an experience! Best bridge humbucker I've ever heard. I wanted to measure everything on that pickup.

I think I'll buy it and put new pups in it as well as a new bridge, new tuners and maybe I'll paint it.
