Ground control to major WTF. I bought a used MIM Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat (another one?) and the MIA allen wrench for saddle height adjustment did not work.
So . . . I took out my metric tool kit and the little Allen wrench worked liked a charm.
Are Mexico and the Far East collaborating to mess with us or it's a total oddball aftermarket addition? Hep Me!

Anything is possible on a MIM, so take your protein pill and call the fire truck :o)
USA-made Strats use an SAE .050" hex wrench for the height screws. Some MIM bridges use the SAE dimension, and some use metric.

Most MIM I have come across use something like 1.5mm I *think*. I can't remember. I converted mine with a Callaham bridge long ago which is vintage/English/SAE/USA/CIA/FBI/NSA/Notorious BIG etc.

Why do I keep fixing things that work?May 16th, 2019 08:04 AM Edit Profile
I know that some of the MIM Strats used an American tremolo on them, like my Deluxe Strat, and this may be the case on your Strat.
My Deluxe Strat came with an American Vintage bridge on it and when the saddle screws became stripped due to the plating flaking off, I replaced it with an Wilkinson bridge as the spacing is different than the Mexican or other import models.
One check of the spacing against an import or Mexican bridge will tell you that your bridge is American and that the mounting holes will not line up.

Measure the bridge you have (string spacing and screw spacing) and compare it to
